Wandering Days

High on top of the world
Where the sun always shines,
In lost regions of gold
I searched for what I didn’t know.

     In all my wandering days
     I could not even show,
What it meant to be saved
And I found myself all alone,
          - And I could not find the road.

Out in the growth of youth
Seeds that got planted by you,
I uncovered what I had lost
And found my dreams shining through.

In the place I used to dwell
I thought I could forget but no,
     Seems I remember it well
A shame now I have to let it go,
           - Time to get back on the road.

(Bridge/Solo)

Will you welcome me home
When I walk through the door?
Tell me nothing has changed
It only makes you want me more.

Through all these years I have seen
How people they come and they go,
And now that I know what it means
To finally find my way home,
           - I will not let you go.
